Choose your style..

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Not all garments are the same to say the least, and this post will help you decide what type of tee is best for your project. On one side of the style line we have what I like to call the “Promotional” tee, and on the other side, we have the “Retail” tee. Let’s do a Pro’s vs Con’s to really see the major differences.

The Promotional Tee Pro’s

  • They are the cheapest style of tee which is great for the budget project.

  • Most brands of these style tees come in a wide variety of color choices.

  • Most of these styles tend to be on the heavier side (6oz), so they are fairly durable.

    The Promotional Tee Con’s

  • Made of “Carded” Cotton, they are not the most comfortable of the two styles by any means.

  • Because they are made is huge factories overseas, they are more likely to have flaws.

  • Printed designs on these cheaper garments are not a “Crispy” compared to the “Retail” Tee.

    The Retail Tee Pro’s

  • These tees are made of “Ringspun Cotton” making them the most comfortable tees to wear.

  • Made in smaller batches, they tend to have less flaws and differences than the Promotional Tee.

  • The “Ringspun” cotton is so smooth, that the printed design looks much more “Crispy” than the “Promotional” Tee.

    The Retail Tee Con’s

  • The “Retail” tee is always more expensive than the “Promotional” tee.

  • With fashion and trends in mind, they do not have as many color options available.

  • Also made for fashion, these tees are a bit lighter weight, which to some people may not be what they are looking for (let’s say the construction worker may want a thicker tee).

Having gone through the major differences between the two types of shirts available, I hope this little comparison will help you to choose what type of tee will work the best for your project.
