TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please read carefully, as they are important!
We require a minimum of a dozen shirts per color in design. For example, if you have an image that has 2 colors, the minimum is 24 pcs. We on some occasions will bend the rules, however the print price will be that of the minimum order scale.
Invoices must be paid in full before any production begins. Trusted clients can pay a 50% deposit up front and the remaining balance before shipment, pick up, or delivery. If your organization requires different methods please contact us.
Turn Around Times
Standard turnaround time for most orders is 5-10 business days from the time of deposit and approval of your digital proof. We know that sometimes you just need to have your order sooner, and in most cases we can juggle our schedule around to make it work. 10% of the order total will be applied to orders that require less than 5 business days to complete. Shipping times are not calculated at this time. Our distributors can usually have an order delivered to us in 1-3 business days, however stock levels can play a part in the turn around time.
Please Note: Ordering multiple designs at one time, ink changes, label printing, and any packaging may add to the turn around time.
We accept EPS, AI, PSD, and PDF files for designs. Please submit your artwork at the desired scale, with PMS colors listed (if color matching is needed). If sending a vector based file, please make sure all fonts are "Converted to Outlines" as we most likely do not have your font installed. If sending a bitmap or PSD file, please make sure that the file is scaled and at a minimum of 300 dpi.
Nifty will submit a final design proof for customer approval. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that all of the information on the proof is correct. This includes checking for any spelling, grammar, or design errors. If an error is found after your order has been approved and printed, Nifty Sign & Print will not be held liable for the cost associated with reprinting the order. We assume no liability for errors in designs approved by the customer.
Design location and size
It is the clients responsibility to notify Nifty of any specific print location specifications, and design sizes at the time of the Design Approval process. If no said specifications are mentioned, we will do our best to conform to our standards. Generally speaking the design drops from the collar as the sizes of the garments go up.
Is that teal or torquoise? Plumb or purple, navy or dark blue? When it comes to printing colors, we do our best to match what we think is the right color and hue based off of your submitted artwork. All computer monitors look slightly different, so there is quite a bit of room for mistake! The safest way to get the color you want is to submit your design with Pantone colors. We use the Uncoated version of the Pantone book. We can get very close to any Pantone, but still, we are only human. If you do not submit or ask for a specific Pantone color, we cannot be responsible for any colors that you are unhappy with once we print the job. We do supply you with a photo via text if you request or require a photo "proof".
Print location variance
Unfortunately screen printing is not totally automated yet, and it takes a human to place the garments onto the press boards, and as awesome as we are, there will always be a slight variance in placement. We do have our systems in place to help our humans, however cannot be liable for shifts of 1/2" or less.
Printing on fabric can be tricky, and because an light adhesive is used to hold the garments onto the press board, there are some garments that will look skewed after printing, but don't worry, once washed the image and fabric will "bounce back" to the original shape!
Nifty cannot be held responsible for garment inconsistencies related to size, color shades, or construction. We do our best to catch small defects, however sometimes do not catch a missed stitch or two. When we catch defects, or in rare cases have a misprinted garment, we subtract those from the order and issue a refund for those garments at the time of shipment, pick up, or delivery. We will not re print or re order garments to replace less than 3% of the total order.
If you are providing us with your own garments, we will ask you provide us with the garment style and fabric makeup before delivery of your order. If you choose to provide us with the garments, please understand that any misprinted garments or defects will not be replaced by Nifty. We will subtract the print price from the order, and as mentioned will not re print any supplied replacments of less than 5% on contract print jobs.
