Check out the latest in printing trends! This is called “Reverse Printing”, and is a technique that uses water based “Discharge” inks. The way this works is by printing the image on the inside of the garment. When the ink has worked it’s magic, and the shirt is turned back out, you are left with a really unique worn and vintage look. This particular garment above is a blended 60/40 fabric, and leaves a truly amazing look to it, as the polyester in the garment resists the dyes in the ink, leaving a modeled look to the final print. Another fantastic thing about this technique is that each garment looks a little different due to the weave of individual garment. Like always, once this garment is washed, the “hand” of the print will disappear, leaving the fabric feeling as if there is no print on the shirt at all!
